About me
Gabriela
I’m a reflective person with a natural tendency toward introspection. Years of psychoanalytic therapy allowed me to deeply explore my thoughts, emotions, and relationships. That experience shaped how I see the world and gave me tools to understand the symbolic and the unseen in everyday life. I’m passionate about communication in all its forms—words, gestures, silences. I find constant inspiration and comfort in music and podcasts, which I listen to almost all the time. Although I’m somewhat introverted, I enjoy spaces of genuine connection, where I can share from a place of authenticity. I’m drawn to what lies beneath the surface, to the details, personal narratives, and the things left unsaid. I live with curiosity and a sensitivity that leads me to observe more than intervene.
My artistic training
I studied Visual Arts with a focus on Painting at IUNA, graduating in 2012. That period gave me essential theoretical tools and the opportunity to explore various techniques such as sculpture, printmaking, and fire arts. I currently attend the Presente workshop, driven by a desire to keep learning in a group setting and the need to focus and deepen my current knowledge. Ongoing practice allows me to grow and strengthen my visual language. At this stage, I’m dedicated to exploring acrylic painting, delving into its expressive and technical possibilities with commitment and curiosity.
